1. Scope of work
Final scope is locked in the kickoff brief. By default each tier includes:
1.1. Landing ($2,900)
- 1 page (header / hero / value props / process / FAQ / contact / footer).
- Responsive layout (desktop / tablet / mobile).
- Baseline SEO (meta tags, structured data, sitemap, robots).
- Inquiry form wired to WhatsApp / Telegram / email.
- Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager install.
- Domain hookup and SSL certificate.
- Favicon and Open Graph image.
- Deployment to hosting and end-to-end testing.
- Short cheat sheet on how to update content.
1.2. Multi-page ($2,900)
Everything in Landing, plus up to 5 extra pages (About / Services / Case Studies / Contact / Blog starter).
1.3. E-commerce ($4,900)
Everything in Multi-page, plus a catalog of up to 50 products, cart, checkout, Stripe integration (cards), optional PayPal, and a basic "Shipping & Returns" page.
1.4. NOT included by default
- Custom backend (CRM, ERP, mobile app).
- Advanced e-commerce logic beyond Phase 1 (subscriptions, tiered discounts, LTV tracking).
- Professional photo or video shoots.
- Copywriting beyond 5 sections (extra sections are quoted separately).
- Logo design from scratch (brand identity is a separate quote).
- Ongoing ads or SEO management (those are separate monthly retainers).
2. Project phases
Every project goes through four phases:
2.1. Discovery (1-3 days)
We fill out the brief together. I ask about your niche, competitors, customer base, and what success looks like. You send references, your logo, photos, customer reviews. Output: locked scope and timeline.
2.2. Design (3-5 days for a landing)
I build a v1 prototype/mockup. You review and send feedback, I revise. 3 rounds of revisions are included. Once you sign off on the design, we move to development.
2.3. Development (4-7 days for a landing)
I build the HTML / CSS / JS, wire up responsive layouts, hook up forms and analytics. End of phase: preview link for final QA. You test on your devices, I squash bugs.
2.4. Launch (1-2 days)
Deploy to your hosting, point the domain, install SSL, smoke-test forms in production, hand over every credential. Plus a quick onboarding (15-20 minute video call) on how to update content.
3. Milestone payments
Payment is split into 2 parts:
- 50% upfront — after brief sign-off, before Discovery starts. For a landing that's $1,450 of $2,900.
- 70% balance — on launch day, after successful deployment and credential handoff. For a landing that's $1,450.
Full details on methods, currencies, and taxes are on the Payment Terms page. Cancellation refunds live on the Refund Policy page.
Ownership of the site transfers to you after the final payment clears.
4. Timelines
Standard timelines (calendar days, not business days):
- Landing — 10-14 days from deposit + complete brief + all assets.
- Multi-page — 14-21 days.
- E-commerce — 14-20 days (depending on catalog size).
4.1. What slows the clock down
- Client feedback delays beyond 48 hours per review.
- Revision requests beyond the 3 included rounds.
- Scope changes mid-build.
- Late asset delivery (logo, photos, copy).
Every 24-hour client delay pushes the final deadline by the same amount. If a delay tops 14 days, the project goes on pause and is rescheduled on a new timeline.
4.2. What slows US down
If a delay on our side without your sign-off goes past 30 days, you have the right to terminate and receive a full refund of everything paid, per the Refund Policy.
5. Acceptance criteria
At every phase you get a deliverable and you sign off on it.
5.1. After design
I send the prototype. You have 5 business days to review. Up to 3 revision rounds. Once you say "OK" (a WhatsApp/Telegram message is enough), the design is accepted.
5.2. After development
I send a preview link. You have 5 business days for final QA: forms, links, mobile, page speed. Bug fixes are free. Feature changes are quoted separately.
5.3. After launch
If you don't flag a critical bug in the 7 days after launch, the project is considered fully accepted. From that point the 12-month free-edits warranty kicks in (see Warranty Policy).
6. Revisions during the build
Each tier includes 3 revision rounds during the design phase. One round = a batch of edits you send as a single list.
6.1. Counts as a "revision"
- Text changes.
- Swapping a color, font, or size.
- Reordering blocks on the page.
- Replacing an image.
6.2. Does NOT count as a revision (= scope change)
- Adding new pages.
- Adding blocks that weren't in the brief.
- Throwing out the design direction and starting over.
- Adding new functionality (form, cart, filter).
Extra revisions are $50/round for a landing, or $80/hour hourly. Scope changes get their own quote.
7. 12 months of free edits
From launch day, you get 12 months of free edits. Free during that window:
- Copy changes on any page.
- Swapping out images.
- Updating contacts, prices, hours.
- Adding licenses, certifications, awards.
- Bug fixes (a form stopped sending, something broke on a new iOS).
- Compatibility fixes for new browsers.
Not included:
- Redesign or new visual direction.
- New features (online booking, payments, catalog filter).
- New pages.
- New integrations (CRM, Zapier, Calendly).
Full terms on the Warranty Policy page. Response times are usually ≤48 hours for critical issues and ≤7 days for cosmetic ones (see SLA).
8. Your responsibilities
For the project to land on time, we need you to:
- Fill out the brief honestly and in detail at kickoff — this is the most important step.
- Send assets within 5 business days of brief sign-off: logo (vector if you have it), photos, customer reviews, copy, access to your Google account for analytics.
- Respond within 48 hours to project questions (content questions, design reviews, milestone approvals).
- Pay on schedule (50% upfront / 70% balance) — each invoice within 5 business days of receipt.
- Stand behind every fact you give us to publish (testimonials, prices, licenses, years in business).
- Own the rights to every asset you hand over (photos, logos, copy from a previous agency).
- Don't deploy the site to a third-party host before final payment — that's an IP violation.
9. Our responsibilities
From our side, KVOKA commits to:
- Deliver on the agreed timeline (adjusted for client delays, see section 4).
- Do quality work — responsive layouts, page speed (Lighthouse 85+), compatibility with current Chrome / Safari / Firefox / Edge.
- Test before handoff — every form, link, and the mobile layout.
- Deploy and configure the domain with SSL, with no input from you (or minimal input if the domain lives at a third-party registrar).
- Hand over every credential on launch day — hosting, domain, Analytics, Search Console, ad accounts.
- Run a short training on how to update content (15-20 minute walkthrough).
- Stay reachable for 12 months after launch for free edits (Warranty Policy).
- Keep your business info confidential (see section 12).
10. Terminating the agreement
The agreement can end in three ways.
10.1. Mutual agreement
Both sides agree to stop. Financial reconciliation runs per the Refund Policy.
10.2. Client-initiated
You can stop at any time, no reason needed. Refund follows the Refund Policy (depends on phase: before design starts, deposit minus a $50 processing fee; after design starts, pro-rated).
10.3. KVOKA-initiated
We may terminate if:
- Payment is more than 14 days late without agreement.
- You violate the Acceptable Use Policy (illegal niche, fraud, fake reviews).
- The working relationship breaks down (disrespect, threats, discrimination).
If we terminate due to a breach, you DO NOT get a refund for work already completed.
11. Force majeure
Neither side is liable for non-performance caused by events outside reasonable control:
- Natural disasters (earthquake, hurricane, flood).
- War, civil unrest, terrorism.
- Government-mandated internet or payment-system shutdowns.
- Global pandemics and related lockdowns.
- Serious illness or hospitalization of the founder (Maks) — in which case we notify within 48 hours and offer either rescheduled timing or, with your sign-off, handing the project to a vetted contractor.
If force majeure lasts more than 60 days and makes the project impossible, either side may terminate with a pro-rated refund of unearned funds.
12. Confidentiality
During the project we see your business internals (prices, volumes, suppliers, marketing plan). We agree to:
- Not share that information with anyone outside the project.
- Use it only to do the work.
- Require any KVOKA contractor to sign an NDA before getting access.
- Store materials on secure servers (Hostinger, EU) with encryption.
- Not publish your site in our portfolio without written consent (a WhatsApp message saying "yes, you can show it" is enough).
If you want a standalone NDA, I'll send a template or sign yours.
